NPORS and CPCS both conform with strict industry standards. CPCS is the established training method in the plant industry and is widely recognised on construction sites in the UK while NPORS often seen as a cost effective and more flexible alternative.
Both card schemes you are assed by a theory and practical test at the end of the course. CPCS you are assessed against via a verbal test and then a practical test, NPORS theory test is most commonly 25 questions 20 of them being multiple choice. Then you are assessed via a practical test.
CPCS is normally carried out on an accredited site where by NPORS can either be done at a training providers site or on a working site
